Mapbook for ArcGIS 10

This course teaches how to use data driven pages in ArcGIS 10 to make hard copy and PDF/JPG mapbooks and mapbook pages.  Using data driven pages in ArcMap allows the user to create mapbooks of any scale or content and of any specified area from a single ArcMap .mxd file.  This course will cover creating grids of appropriate scale, legends and keys, indexes and other important options.  It will also briefly cover creating labels and annotations for use in the mapbook.

Creating good mapbooks is a time-intensive activity.  However, once created, you can maintain them easily and produce updates for individual pages as needed.

This course is for ArcGIS 10. 

Prerequisites: familiarity with ArcGIS
